How to Care for Your Locket

Your Greektacular locket is more than jewelry — it’s a wearable piece of your story. To help it stay beautiful and meaningful for years, we’ve created a simple care guide with everything you need to keep it shining.

1. Daily Care

Wear your locket often — the natural oils from your skin help keep the metal shiny and slow tarnishing. It’s made to be enjoyed, not stored away.

2. Cleaning

Give your locket an occasional polish to maintain its shine. We suggest a Jewelry Cleaner for sterling silver and gold vermeil. Use a soft jewelry cloth and avoid touching or scrubbing.

3. Storage

When you’re not wearing it, store your locket in its lined box to protect it from dust, moisture, and light — all factors that can speed up tarnishing.

4. Avoid Moisture & Chemicals

Keep your locket away from chlorine, harsh soaps, cleaners, perfumes, and lotions. Apply products first, then put on your jewelry. Keeping it dry helps the metal and chain last longer.

5. Chains & Repairs

If your chain breaks or stretches, replacement chains are available on our website.
